Add a Camera to OEM Audi Q2 (2017 Onwards) With MIB2 systems

This interface allows to integrate smartphone/ camera into 2016 onward Audi cars with OEM MIB II systems  (7 or 8.3 inch screens).

The original MIB 2 system consists of the MIB 2 main unit with either a 7/8.3 inch monitor with 4pin LVDS connector.

What MMI System does my audi have?

The easiest way to check which MMI system you have is to check the software version that is loaded in the system. To do this, enter the car menu by pressing the CAR button, then press SETUP or MENU, then select the “Version” submenu and read the value from the line marked with the letters “SW“.
