Add Camera to OEM Volkswagen Sharan II (2010-2022) With Composition Media/Discover Media (MIB STD2 PQ/+NAV)

Add a reverse view NTSC camera to select Volkswagen vehicle models with Composition Media/Discover Media (MIB STD2 PQ/+NAV) systems.

This interface is a camera add on kit which allows you to add an aftermarket rear view camera whilst retaining the use of your factory head unit. This harness has a built in interface to give ignition power and a reverse feed to the camera.
PLEASE NOTE: The camera input function needs to be CODED to the car by either a VW dealer or a specialist engineer with VCDS.

Suitable for the following Volkswagen vehicle models with factory OPS, MIB STD2 PQ/+NAV, Composition Media/Discover Media, 1x SD Slot vertically left or 1x SD slot each vertically left and right and CD drive above the 6.33 inch monitor:

Compatibility notes
NOT compatible with 1K8035150_ head unit models. The head unit model number can be found by accessing the info/about menu on the head unit. 27-300 will work with most Composition Media head units, but there are some that do not accept a camera input at all. NOT compatible with the following model numbers XXX035820A, XXX035820, XXX035819A, XXX035819 or XXX035812. The head unit model number can be found by accessing the info/about menu on the head unit to check before purchase.
