Add/Retain Camera To OEM Screen Kia Sportage (2010-2022) (WITHOUT FACTORY NAVIGATION)

Allows you to add an aftermarket reverse view camera to the original factory fitted head unit on select Hyundai and Kia cars without factory fitted navigation systems.

This adapter cable also allows you retain the original OEM factory fitted camera when installing a new aftermarket head unit.

PLEASE NOTE: Only suitable for select Hyundai and Kia car models WITHOUT factory fitted navigation systems and a 16 Pin connection

Installation

To retain/ keep the factory reverse camera when installing an aftermarket unit

• Connect the Black wire to the chassis ground
• Connect the red wire to the accessory power, please use a voltage converter to provide the camera with the correct voltage
• Connect the male Yellow RCA plug to the reverse camera input of the aftermarket radio

PLEASE NOTE: If retaining a camera please purchase this adapter cable with a 12v to 6v voltage converter, part number 10-671

To add an aftermarket camera to the original system screen

• Connect the Black wire to the ground wire of the aftermarket camera
• Connect the power wire of the aftermarket camera to accessory power
• Connect the female Yellow RCA plug to the aftermarket camera
• Tape off and disregard the Red wire, it is not required 

PLEASE NOTE: If the Blue/ Red wire is not populated on the factory connection side, a reverse wire will need to be found in the vehicle. A loose Green/ Purple is included for this purpose.
