Add/Retain Camera To OEM Screen Mazda CX-7 (2007-2012)

Allows you to add an aftermarket reverse view camera to the original factory fitted head unit on select Mazda car models (Display and navigation model radios only).

This adapter cable also allows you retain the original OEM factory fitted camera when installing a new aftermarket head unit.

Installation

To retain/ keep the factory reverse camera when installing an aftermarket unit

• Connect the Black wire to the chassis ground
• Connect the Yellow wire labelled "camera Power 6V" to the voltage converter (10-671)  
• Connect the male Yellow RCA plug to the reverse camera input of the aftermarket radio
• Connect the reverse wire from the aftermarket radio to the reverse signal in the vehicle

PLEASE NOTE: If retaining a camera please purchase this adapter cable with a 12v to 6v voltage converter, part number 10-671

To add an aftermarket camera to the original system screen

• Connect the Black wire to the ground wire of the aftermarket camera
• Connect the Yellow wire to the battery wire of the aftermarket camera
• Connect the female Yellow RCA plug to the aftermarket camera

6 (3rd Gen) GJL, JL (2012-2014) with NB1 or original navigation head unit

CX-5 (1st Gen) KE (2012 - 2014) with NB1 head unit

CX-9 with original navigation head unit

PLEASE NOTE: Not compatible with head-units with a 4.5" monitor or cars with double DIN SANYO TomTom units
